Korea University Anam Hospital was opened in 1941 based on medical school founded in 1938. It has 43 medical departments and 16 centers, and is accredited JCI (Joint Commission International) to provide patient-specific care and safe treatment. We specialize in the treatment of thyroid cancer and breast cancer, which have a high incidence among women. We have the world’s first TORT (Trans-Oral Robotic Thyroidomy), which removes thyroid cancer without scars, and robotic breast reconstruction, which reconstructs breast without scars with Korea’s first successful autologous-tissue.
