Purpose

This bootcamp is not a lecture where you simply sit and listen.
It is a hands-on, practice-based course designed for foreigners preparing for employment at international medical centers in Korean university hospitals.

Participants actively speak real expressions used in the field, including department abbreviations, patient guidance, test explanations, and result consultation phrases.
The goal is to develop practical language skills that can be applied immediately in real hospital settings.

Target Audience

• Foreigners preparing to work at Korean university or general hospitals
  (medical interpretation, coordination, international clinic administration, etc.)

• Foreign residents in Korea who want to strengthen their medical interpretation skills

• Anyone interested in medical interpretation at international clinics or health screening centers

Program Information

• Location: Offline classroom in Seongsu-dong, Seoul

• Schedule: Every second Monday, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (3 hours)

• Tuition: 50,000 KRW (price increase expected)

Curriculum

① Memorizing Hospital Department Abbreviations & Practical Application

② Interpretation Practice at the International Medical Center (by test type)

• Basic tests: blood pressure, ECG, vision & hearing instructions

• Blood & urine tests: preparation, explanation, urine test guidance

• Imaging tests: ultrasound interpretation phrases, basic X-ray guidance

• Endoscopy: essential pre- and post-procedure instructions

③ Interpretation of Medical Examination Results

• Real-time, spontaneous speaking

• Doctor–Patient–Interpreter 3-way role-play
  (medical terminology + natural communication practice)
