Exprive recently organized a media and influencer visit to THAN Clinic Changwon, bringing together international content creators based in Korea to learn more about Korea's evolving aesthetic medicine landscape outside of Seoul.

The event took place at THAN Clinic Changwon in Gyeongsangnam-do and included a clinic tour, educational presentations, and an open discussion session with medical professionals. Participants traveled from Seoul and Busan and represented a variety of countries and content categories, including beauty, lifestyle, travel, and culture.

The program began with a guided tour of the clinic's facilities, allowing attendees to observe the patient environment and learn about the clinic's approach to consultation, treatment planning, and aftercare. The clinic shared its guiding philosophy, "Today is Better than Yesterday," which emphasizes gradual self-improvement and personalized care.

The educational portion of the event featured presentations from two physicians within the THAN Clinic network.

Dr. Son Min-Jeong, Representative Director of THAN Clinic Changwon, introduced the history of the clinic and discussed its patient-centered treatment approach. Dr. Son graduated from Pusan National University College of Medicine and previously served on the faculty of Pusan National University Hospital. She also serves as the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam chapter director of the Korean Society of Obesity and Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr. Park Hyoung-uk, Representative Director of THAN Clinic Masan, led a session focused on Sculptra, a collagen-stimulating injectable treatment that has gained international attention in recent years. During the presentation, Dr. Park discussed the scientific principles behind collagen stimulation and broader trends in natural-looking aesthetic treatments. Dr. Park is a graduate of Pusan National University College of Medicine and is recognized as a key opinion leader in several aesthetic medicine fields, including Sculptra education and training.

The event also included a moderated Q&A session where attendees discussed common skincare concerns frequently raised by international residents and visitors to Korea, including skin texture, pigmentation, redness, sensitive skin, and general anti-aging interests. The discussion focused on understanding available treatment categories and the importance of individualized medical consultation.
