“SAVJAK Together I”: A New B2B Meetup Connecting Companies Serving Foreigners in Seoul 🌏
Updated: Nov 29, 2025On November 29, 2025, Exprivé — a platform known for bridging international patients, expats, and foreign-serving businesses with Korean services — quietly launched something you should know about: SAVJAK: B2B Meetup for Companies Serving Foreigners (사브작투게더).
What is SAVJAK?
SAVJAK is a business-to-business meetup designed to foster collaboration among companies that provide services to foreigners — from travel and cosmetics to career services and medical tourism. The inaugural session, “SAVJAK Together I,” took place at a trendy venue in Seongsu, Seoul on a Saturday afternoon: 12–3 pm on November 29.
Why SAVJAK?
SAVJAK is a Korean word that describes the soft, hopeful sound of small steps—like the gentle rustle of leaves or the light crunch of snow. We believe this reflects how startups begin: with small but meaningful steps that eventually make a real difference in the world. Through this B2B meetup, we want to bring together startups that serve foreigners in Korea—or are powered by foreigners themselves—to take those ‘savjak’ steps together and create bigger impact as a community.”
Who Was There?
A wide range of businesses showed up — reflecting a diverse ecosystem serving foreigners:
Travel and tourism (e.g. MyRealTrip)
Cosmetics and beauty export/import ventures (e.g. Nuleep, Unnis, Minipopz, Mucos)
Career & recruitment services (e.g. Wanted, Flipers, Assist‑Me)
Marketing, branding agencies and content producers (e.g. Seemilar, BrandUp Korea, The Firstfruits Agency, Citrus Avenue)
Media, social-influencer communities, mobility services, wellness centers, medical tourism, and more.
And of course, Exprivé itself — a gateway for foreigners in Korea seeking medical tourism or other services — was front and center.
Why It Matters
Bridging Gaps: For many foreigners in Korea, navigating services — travel, beauty, work, healthcare — can be challenging. SAVJAK’s aim is to bring together the businesses that serve these needs, making collaboration easier and more seamless.
Cross-Industry Collaboration: Instead of working in silos (e.g. just travel, or just beauty), companies from different sectors can meet, exchange ideas, and possibly combine strengths — like a travel agency teaming up with a wellness center, or a recruitment agency collaborating with a content producer to attract foreign talent.
Building Community: Beyond transactional business, this meetup helps build a broader community of foreign-serving enterprises. That shared space and vision can lead to better services, more awareness, and ultimately, a better experience for foreigners living in or visiting Korea.
Potential for Growth: As more companies join and as the network expands, SAVJAK could become a go-to hub for any company wanting to reach non-Korean customers or for foreigners seeking services in Korea.
What’s Next?
Since this was “SAVJAK Together I,” it feels like the beginning of something bigger. If future meetups follow, we might see:
More participants from varied sectors (education, real estate, fintech, language services, etc.)
Dedicated sub-groups (e.g. travel × wellness, recruitment × media)
Events tailored to foreigners’ lives — not only business matchings, but also resources, community help, and cultural bridging
